How to Upgrade Mac OS

Before performing the Mac OS update, please ensure your Mac is plugged in to the charger.

To upgrade your Mac to the latest OS, please follow the directions below:

 

  1. On the home screen, select the Apple logo:

  1. Select “System Settings”:

  1. Select “Software Update Available“:

     

  2. Select “Upgrade Now“:

     

  3. Select “Agree“ to the License Agreement for macOS:

     

  4. Enter your password and select “OK“:

  5. Your Mac will now start downloading and installing the OS. Please note that your Mac will need to restart in order for the update to complete:
