How to Set up Student Loaner Laptops

Windows 11

1. Turn on the computer and make sure it is plugged into power.

2. Click Yes to United States as the right country.

3. Click Yes to the US Keyboard layout

  1. Click Skip for another keyboard layout

5. Connect to ACC Open if on campus or use your wifi

  1. Once connected, click Next.

7. Click Accept to the Windows License Agreement

  1. Name the Device or Skip it

9. Click Set up for work or school. Click Next.

10. Click Sign in Options.

11. Click Domain Join instead.

12. Enter your name.

13. Create a password. Click Next.

14. Confirm the password.

15. Answer the security questions.

16. Uncheck all of the privacy settings. Click Accept.

17. Enter the information. Click Next.

18. Check the information is correct and uncheck the sending of information.

19. The device will start setting up.

Windows 10

  1. Select the US as the region. Click Yes.

2. Click Yes to the keyboard layout.

  1. Click Skip.

4. Click I don’t have internet.

  1. Click Continue with Limited Setup.

6. Accept the License Agreement.

  1. Enter your name. Click Next.

8. Create a password. Click Next.

  1. Confirm the password. Click Next.

10. Answer the security questions. Click Next after each question.

11. Uncheck all the privacy settings. Click Next.

12. Click Not Now for Cortana.

13. The device will start setting up.
