How to Fix the HTTP 500 Error
If you are getting the HTTP 500 error when logging into myACC or D2L, it is best to clear the cache. Below is how to clear your cache:
Google Chrome
Click the Menu icon and click Settings.
2. Select Privacy & Security and click Clear browsing data.
3. Click the Advanced tab.
4. Select the period All Time and select all of the items except for Saved passwords and Autofill form data.
5. Select the Clear data button.
6. Exit out of Chrome completely and reopen Chrome.
Mozilla Firefox
1. Click the Menu button at the top right and select Settings.
2. Select the Privacy & Security panel.
3. Scroll down to the Cookies and Site Data section, click Clear Data….
4. Make sure Cookies and Site Data and Cached Web Content are selected.
5. Click Clear.
6. Close and reopen Firefox.
Microsoft Edge
1. Click the Menu icon at the top right and select Settings.
2. Select Privacy, search, and services.
3. Scroll down to Clear browsing data and select Choose what to clear.
4. Make sure that All Time is the time range and have everything selected except for Passwords and Autofill.
5. Click Clear Now.
6. Completely close out of Edge and reopen Edge.
Safari
1. Go to the top left and click Safari.
2. Click Clear History.
3. Make sure All History is selected.
4. Click Clear History.
5. Quit Safari and reopen Safari.
