Laptop Cart Procedure
Laptop Cart Information
Checkout for laptop carts is on a first come, first-serve basis.
To reserve a Laptop Cart, you must be a currently employed member of Arapahoe Community College Faculty or Staff.
Laptop equipment is only available for on-campus use. Faculty/Staff are not permitted to transport any Laptop Carts or their respective equipment to other locations outside of the building.
Laptop Carts must be reserved as a package. Laptops cannot be checked out individually and must remain with their respective cart.
Laptop Cart Reservation Procedure:

After completing the above step, a reservation request will be created and assigned to the IT department. The cart will be dropped off at the location designated in your request. Please leave the laptop cart plugged in so all the laptops within the cart remain charged and ready for use.
The reserved laptop cart will be locked upon arrival, please refer to the reservation e-mail which you should receive from an IT staff member that will include a code for the lockbox.
Laptop Cart Return Procedure:
Once your class has finished or when the laptops are no longer in use, please ensure that each laptop is properly shut off (within Windows press Start > Power > Shut down).
Ensure that each laptop is returned to the designated shelf within the cart. Each shelf and laptop are numbered, so please ensure that they match when putting them back into the cart.
Once the laptop is inserted inside the cart, please be sure to plug the laptop into the charging cable located within each individual shelf.
Please lock the doors on each side of the laptop cart and return the key to the lockbox once you have verified that all contents are returned.
Faculty/Staff Supervision Responsibilities:
Laptop carts need to be reserved.
Verify the contents of the laptop cart are all accounted for before you distribute and return the laptops.
Monitor laptop use.
Assign a computer number to each student per session.
At the end of each session, plug each laptop into the corresponding power supply inside of the cart.
Lock the doors on each side of the laptop cart and return the key to the lockbox once you have verified that all contents are returned.
Ensure the laptop cart is plugged into a power source.
Notify the ACC IT department of any possible damage or needed repairs.
