How to Delete Outlook Rules/Alerts

Outlook.com Instructions:

1. Log into outlook.com.

2. Click the Gear icon.

3. Click View all Outlook Settings.

4. Go to Mail → Rules → Examine the rules that you have.

5. If there are rules that you don’t want, click the trash can icon.

6. Click OK to confirm deletion.

7. Exit out of the Outlook.com settings.

Outlook Application Instructions:

1. Click File at the top left.

2. Click on Rules & Alerts.

3. Identify any rules you don’t want.
4. Make sure to select the rule you wish to delete.

5. Click Delete.

6. Click Apply and then OK.

7. The rule should be gone.
