Logging into Outlook.com with Duo Multi-Factor Authentication

1. In your internet browser (i.e. Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge), go to https://outlook.com.

     a. Click Sign In at the top right.

 

 

     b. Enter your Arapahoe email and click "Next".

 

 

     c. Enter your password and click "Next".

 

 

    d. You can also sign-in to the MyACC portal and click on the Fac/Staff Email link

 

 

 

2. You will then be given the option to choose your Duo Multi-Factor Authentication method.

 

 

3a. Duo Push

If you have the Duo Mobile App installed on your smartphone, click the "Send Me a Push" button. 

 

You will then receive a notification on your Duo enrolled smartphone. Open the Duo Mobile app and click the "Approve" button to complete your login.

 

 

 

3b. Call Me

If you don't have the Duo Mobile App installed on a smartphone, you have the option to receive a phone call. Click the "Call Me" button.

 

You will then receive a phone call on your Duo enrolled phone. Answer the call and you will be prompted to press any key on your phone's keypad. Press any key to complete your login.

 

 

3c. Enter a Passcode

If you don't have the Duo Mobile App installed on a smartphone, you have the option to enter a passcode received in a text message. Click the "Enter a Passcode" button.

 

Then click the "Text me new codes" button

 

 

You will then receive a text message that includes a temporary passcode.

 

 

Enter the temporary passcode in the Log in field and click the "Log in" button to complete your login
